“The tub drains slower every week.”

A drain that loses a little speed every week is narrowing — hair and soap near the top, or scale and buildup deeper down, which is common in Lombard’s older galvanized lines. We find where the narrowing lives before deciding anything, because the two fixes cost very different amounts.

“The water heater makes a popping sound.”

That popping is water boiling under a layer of sediment — the tank working harder than it should. Caught early, a flush can quiet it and stretch the heater’s life. Further gone, you’re paying extra gas to make less hot water. We’ll tell you which stage yours is in.
