Slow drains, gurgling & backups

Tell us which drain it is.
We'll tell you what's behind it.

A slow drain is rarely random. Grease, soap, hair, and scale build up in the same spots every time — and pouring another bottle down it doesn’t move them.

No drama, just drains

“The kitchen sink backs up every few weeks.”

A kitchen line that clogs on a schedule is usually grease coating the pipe, narrowing it a little more each month. Clearing the clog fixes today; cleaning the line fixes the pattern. We’ll tell you which one you actually need.

Before we start

“The bathtub gurgles when the toilet flushes.”

Fixtures talking to each other means they share a line — and that line is struggling. It’s worth checking before it becomes a backup. We’ll tell you whether it’s a branch clog, a vent problem, or the main.

“I’ve used three bottles of drain cleaner. It keeps coming back.”

Chemical cleaners burn a hole through the clog and leave the rest on the pipe walls — and they’re hard on older pipes. If it keeps returning, the buildup is still there. Mechanical cleaning removes it instead of rearranging it.

How it works

We'd rather end the pattern
than clear the same clog twice.

Anyone can punch a hole through a blockage. We tell you why it formed, so you’re not calling us again in three months.

  1. An expert picks up.

Tell us which drain, how slow, and how long it's been going on. We'll tell you what it usually is and what clearing it involves — before we send anyone.

  2. We find the clog, not just the symptom.

The right access point and the right tool — a cable for soft blockages, jetting for grease and scale. If several fixtures are involved, we check the main line before touching anything.

  3. You get the options in writing.

Clear the clog, clean the whole line, or camera it to see what keeps causing this — each with a price. The number doesn't move once you've signed it.

  4. We prove it flows before we leave.

Water runs full-speed at the fixture, and we tell you what we pulled out and what that means for next time.

Not sure it’s worth a visit yet?

Call and describe it. If it’s something a plunger and five minutes can fix, we’ll tell you that for free.

Whether it’s a backed-up kitchen sink at midnight or a slow tub you’ve been ignoring, you get the same straight answer and the same upfront price.

DIAGNOSIS

We find the cause before we price it

Which fixture, which line, and what the buildup is. If more than one drain is slow, we check the main before quoting anything.

STRAIGHT TALK

Sometimes it’s a five-minute fix

A hair clog at the stopper doesn’t need a machine. When the cheap fix is the right fix, we say so — we’d rather lose the job than pad it.

Straight answers

The questions
you might be asking

Why does the same drain keep clogging?

Because the cause is still in the pipe. Clearing a clog opens a channel; the grease, soap, and scale that caught it are still on the walls, and they catch the next load sooner. Lines that clog on a schedule usually need cleaning, not just clearing — or there’s a bigger issue like a sag or roots, which a camera settles.

They’re rough on pipes and rougher on whoever opens the line next. Caustic cleaner sitting in a clogged pipe can damage older metal, soften joints, and splash back when the clog finally opens. And it only dissolves what it touches. For a one-off hair clog, a $10 hand tool does more with less risk.

A snake drills a hole through the blockage — fast, effective, and right for most clogs. Jetting scrubs the whole pipe wall clean with water pressure — right for grease, scale, and lines that clog repeatedly. Snaking fixes the clog; jetting resets the pipe. We’ll tell you which one your line needs.

When more than one fixture is slow at once, when the lowest drain in the house backs up, or when flushing makes something else gurgle. Those point at the main line, not a branch. That’s a different job — and worth a camera before anyone quotes a big repair.

No. We protect the work area before opening anything, cap what we’re not using, and clean up like we were never there. It’s your kitchen; we’re guests in it.

Kitchen: wipe grease into the trash, not the sink — hot water just carries it further down the line before it sets. Bathrooms: a $10 hair catcher beats any chemical. And a line that’s been cleaned properly starts from zero, which buys you years instead of months.

Still not sure what’s clogged?

Describe what’s slow and what happens when you run water. We’ll tell you what it probably is and what it’d take to fix — before anyone gets in a truck.
