Cody is the best plumber around, highly recommend. Very trustworthy!!
Repairs get quoted, houses get bought, and trees get blamed — all on guesses. The camera replaces the guessing, and it costs a fraction of being wrong.
“We’re buying a house. Should we scope the sewer?”
If it’s older than the 1980s or has mature trees, yes — it’s the cheapest insurance in the transaction. A hidden sewer problem is a five-figure surprise, and sellers negotiate very differently when there’s footage. We work around inspection deadlines.

Quote
Before we start
“A contractor quoted me a huge repair. I want proof first.”
Smart. We scope the line independently, locate whatever we find, and give you the footage with our own read on it. If their quote matches what’s down there, you proceed with confidence. If it doesn’t, you just saved the difference.
“Something’s wrong but nobody can tell me what.”
Recurring smells, slow drains, wet spots in the yard, a clog that keeps returning — the line answers when you look inside it. The camera runs the full length, and the locator marks depth and position from above, so “somewhere out there” becomes a spot you can stand on.
How it works
You don’t have to take our word for anything — that’s the point of the camera.
Tell us why you're scoping — a purchase, a quote to verify, a mystery. It changes what we look for and how we write the report.
From the cleanout to the city connection, on a screen you're welcome to watch. Cracks, roots, sags, and offsets get flagged as we pass them.
The transmitter marks anything serious from the surface — depth and position — so a future repair is a marked spot, not an excavation hunt.
Written findings with the video, same day. Use it to negotiate, to compare quotes, or to file away as a clean bill of health.
Call with the address, and the closing date if there is one. Scopes are flat-rate and usually quick to schedule.
Our Standard
Whether it’s a closing deadline or a smell you can’t source, you get the same straight answer and the same upfront price.
The scope is the diagnosis
Full-length video, condition noted joint by joint, and anything serious located from the surface. This is the evidence everything else stands on.
Flat-rate, quoted when you call
A clean line gets called clean
No invented problems, no scare footage. If your sewer is fine, the report says so and you file it away — that’s a good outcome, not a wasted scope.
We’ll tell you what’s cosmetic
The number doesn’t move
Flat-rate scopes quoted on the phone — the number doesn’t change once we’re in the driveway.
Financing available
Nothing gets dug just to look
The camera goes through the cleanout, and the locator works from the lawn. An inspection leaves no trace it happened.
Access through existing openings
You keep the video
Footage and a written report — what insurers and real estate attorneys ask for.
Sent the same day
Licensed and local
The plumber running your camera can price any repair on the spot — or hand you the footage for other bids. Your call.

Straight answers
Depends on access and what the visit includes — which is why we quote it flat on the phone. The honest ranges:
Sewer scope & written report
$XXX – $XXX
Scope with surface locate & marking
$XXX – $XXX
Clearing first, if the line is blocked
$XXX – $XXX
Commercial or multi-unit scope
$XXX – $XXX
Think of it against the downside: the scope costs a few hundred dollars; a failed lateral costs five figures. On homes built before the 1980s, homes with big trees, or any house where the seller can’t answer ‘ever had sewer trouble?’ — yes. On a newer build with PVC to the street, it’s more optional, and we’ll tell you that when you call rather than sell you the scope anyway.
The full catalog: roots at the joints, grease buildup, sags holding water, cracks and fractures, offset or separated joints, scale in old cast iron, and the material changes along the run — clay to cast to PVC — that predict where trouble starts. Each finding gets a distance, a severity, and (if it matters) a surface mark.
Then the line gets cleared first and scoped second — a camera can’t see through standing water and debris, and scoping a blocked line tells you nothing you didn’t know. If we hit that on site, we tell you before doing anything, with the price for the clearing. Nobody gets surprised into a bigger visit.
Both, and locating is the half that saves you money. Footage says ‘crack at 47 feet’; the locator turns that into paint on the grass and a depth. That’s the difference between a repair quote for one marked spot and an exploratory dig billed by the hour. Every serious finding gets marked as part of the scope.
Yes — that’s what it’s for. The footage and report are yours: send them to the seller’s attorney, attach them to a repair credit request, or hand them to three contractors for bids. We’re happy to be one of the bids, but the report doesn’t obligate you to us, and it’s written to stand on its own.
Usually under an hour on site for a standard residential line with a cleanout — a bit more if access is tricky or we’re marking multiple findings. The verbal read happens while the camera is still in the line; the written report and footage arrive the same day. Rush closings: say so, we’ll fit you in.
Tell us the house’s age and what prompted this. We’ll tell you whether a scope is worth the money — even when the answer is no.
