24/7 Emergency

Geneva Sewer Rodding

Cleared today, explained today, priced before we start.

A blocked sewer line doesn’t care how lovely the house is. We rod lines throughout Geneva — a cable with a cutting head clears the clog, gently enough for older pipes — and then show you exactly what was down there.

After what started off as a horrible day we had plumbing issues on top of it. Cody came in and fixed it without hesitation and had the best attitude. I know it’s something small but he was a breath of fresh air. Thank you

Older pipes, roots & slow-downs

Old line, new blockage — a familiar story with a good ending.

Geneva’s older sewer lines have decades of service in them yet. They just collect roots and buildup along the way, and a well-done rodding is how they stay in the game.
“I’ve heard rodding can crack clay pipes.”
Done carelessly, it can stress them — which is why care is the whole technique. The right cutting head, steady feed, no forcing past hard stops without looking first. Old clay handles proper rodding just fine; it’s been handling it for a hundred years. The camera afterward confirms the pipe came through happy.

Before we start

“The lowest drain always floods first.”
That’s physics doing you a favor — the lowest drain is your early-warning system for a main-line blockage. In Geneva’s older homes that’s usually a basement floor drain with a story to tell. Rodding clears the main, and the flooding stops where it started.
“The drains sound like a coffee maker.”
Percolating noises mean air and water are trading places through a partial blockage — the line still works, but it’s negotiating. It’s the cheapest moment to act: a scheduled rodding now, instead of an emergency one the weekend it finally quits.

How it works

Careful with the pipe, quick with the problem.

Geneva’s older lines get rodded like they deserve — proper heads, patient feed, and a camera check after — so the fix never costs more than the clog did.
  1. Describe what changed.

When the slowing started, what backs up first, any sounds or smells — the details point to the blockage type before we arrive, and with older lines, arriving prepared is half the job.

  2. Clearing, with a light touch.

The cable works through the blockage at a pace the pipe dictates. Hard stops get inspected before they get forced — old lines reward patience, and patience is cheaper than repairs.

  3. Then the plain-English report.

You see the cleared line on camera and hear what we found in ordinary words. Most Geneva roddings end with 'you're in good shape.' If yours doesn't, the options arrive priced, in writing, with time to think.

  4. Open, and proven open.

Water runs full-tilt while the camera watches it go. You keep the footage — the before-and-after your line never had.

Not sure yours needs fixing yet?

Call and ask. We’d rather talk you out of a repair than sell you one you didn’t need.

Our Standard

A little about
our customer service.

An overflowing floor drain or a slow line you’ve politely ignored — Geneva homes get the same careful clearing and the same settled price.
