Buildup, root stubs & sluggish lines

Your line works hard. Once in a while, wash it.

Wheaton lines collect what every busy household sends down — and after enough years, a proper wash beats another quick clearing. We can show you which stage yours is at.
“What does jetting do that a cable can’t?”
A cable is a drill; jetting is a power washer. The cable cuts a hole through the blockage and leaves the walls coated. The jet strips the walls themselves — grease, sludge, mineral film, root hairs — and flushes it all downstream. Blocked line? Cable. Line that keeps re-clogging? That’s a wall problem, and walls are the jet’s specialty.

Before we start

“The water goes down slower every year.”
A line that loses a little speed annually is narrowing — buildup thickening ring by ring, like a cholesterol problem for the house. Wheaton homes a few decades old feel it as a slow fade. Jetting reverses the fade in one visit, back to the pipe’s original diameter.
“What’s actually left inside after rodding?”
Usually a ring of everything the cable didn’t touch — grease on the walls, sludge in the low spots, root stubs at the joints. That residue is tomorrow’s clog waiting for reinforcements. The camera shows it plainly, which is why we scope before recommending anything.

How it works

Scoped, washed, and shown off — the hometown way.

Wheaton is home, so jetting jobs here get the full show-your-work treatment: the grimy before, the gleaming after, and a neighbor’s honest advice in between.
  1. The symptoms, over the phone.

Slow fade or sudden stop? Kitchen line or main? What you describe sorts jetting candidates from rodding jobs — and we'll tell you which you sound like before anyone's dispatched.

  2. Verify it's a wall problem.

The camera confirms buildup is the culprit and checks the pipe's condition — pressure gets tailored to what the line can take. You see the coating for yourself before we commit to washing it.

  3. The clean, priced next to the clear.

Where both would work, Wheaton homeowners see jetting and rodding priced side by side with plain trade-offs. Pick either — the written number is the bill, and the advice stays neighborly.

  4. Gleaming walls, filmed.

The after-pass rolls while you watch — bare pipe where the buildup was. Footage goes in your file; bragging rights go wherever you like.

Not sure yours needs fixing yet?

Call and ask. We’d rather talk you out of a repair than sell you one you didn’t need.
