Sewer Rodding in Wheaton

When nothing drains, we're the fast way back to normal.

Our shop is in Wheaton, so a blocked line here gets our quickest response. Rodding sends a steel cable with a cutting head through the pipe, clears the blockage, and gets the house running again — usually in one visit.

Pro Services installed a 6 inch clean out and placed a lateral liner in our sewer line. What can I say, they did and excellent and professional job from start to finish. They're a great company.

After what started off as a horrible day we had plumbing issues on top of it. Cody came in and fixed it without hesitation and had the best attitude. I know it’s something small but he was a breath of fresh air. Thank you

Roots, backups & spring surprises

The house stopped draining. Let's get it moving.

Wheaton’s mature trees are wonderful neighbors with terrible manners underground. Every spring their roots find sewer lines — ours included. Rodding is how the neighborhood fights back.
“The last rodding barely lasted the season.”
A rodding that fades fast means something in the pipe is helping the clog rebuild — roots at a joint, a rough spot, a low section. We clear the line, then look at it on camera and tell you what’s really down there. Maybe it’s a yearly trim. Maybe it’s time for more. You’ll see it either way.

Before we start

“The basement floor drain overflowed again.”
The floor drain is the lowest exit, so it’s where a blocked main announces itself. On Wheaton’s tree-lined blocks that announcement usually has roots behind it. The cable cuts them out, and the camera afterward shows how they got in — which tells you how soon they’ll try again.
“The last cable hit something solid.”
A cable that stops cold has found something worth seeing — a hard blockage, a collapsed section, or a misaligned joint. Forcing it blind is how pipes get hurt. We bring the camera to that exact spot, look before pushing harder, and tell you what you’re dealing with.

How it works

Fast when it's urgent, careful the whole way through.

When your Wheaton neighbors have a backup, we’re often minutes away. Being local also means the fix has to hold — we see these houses again.
  1. A quick, useful phone call.

Tell us what's backing up and we'll tell you what it points to, what to stop running in the meantime, and how fast we can be there. Blocked mains around here rarely wait politely.

  2. Cut through the blockage.

The rotating cable works down the line with the right cutting head for the job — root blades for roots, different heads for grease and paper. It clears until the line takes water at full speed.

  3. Then look at the pipe.

The camera shows what blocked the line and the shape it's in. Most Wheaton clogs end there. If roots are getting through a joint, we'll show you the spot and price the choices in writing — clear yearly, or fix the entry point for good.

  4. Full flow, on screen.

You watch water leave the house the way it's supposed to. The footage is yours, and so is a plain-language note on what we found.

Not sure yours needs fixing yet?

Call and ask. We’d rather talk you out of a repair than sell you one you didn’t need.
