After what started off as a horrible day we had plumbing issues on top of it. Cody came in and fixed it without hesitation and had the best attitude. I know it’s something small but he was a breath of fresh air. Thank you

Sewer & drain specialists

Tell us the symptom.
We'll name the fix.

Most of what we do is underground. You don’t need the terminology — that’s our job. That’s our job.

Call us, don't wait

“Water is coming up out of the drain.”

Sewage backup means the main line is blocked. Every hour costs you damage. We camera it, clear it, and show you the footage.

Quote

Before we start

“It backs up again every few months.”

Rodding punches a hole through the clog. Hydro jetting scours the pipe wall back to bare metal at 4,000 PSI, so grease and scale have nothing left to grab.

“Roots keep breaking into the line.”

Cracks, bellies and root intrusion get repaired — or the whole line relined trenchless, so the driveway and the lawn stay where they are.

How it works

No surprises between
the call and the invoice.

You can’t see your sewer line. So we show it to you before anyone talks about price.

  1. An expert picks up.

Describe what you're seeing in your own words. We'll tell you whether it can wait until morning or whether we're coming now — even if the honest answer is that it can wait.

  2. We put a camera down the line first.

Before any quote. You watch the screen with us and see whether it's grease, roots, a belly or a crack — so the recommendation isn't something you have to take on faith.

  3. You get the options in writing.

Rod it today, jet it so it stays clear, or line it permanently — each with a price and how long it buys you. You pick. The number doesn't move once you've signed it.

  4. We re-camera it when we're done.

Same camera, same line, clear pipe. You keep the footage. If something's still wrong, we haven't finished.

Your Line. On Camera.

After Jetting

Not sure it’s an emergency?

Call and ask. We’d rather talk you out of a service call than sell you one you didn’t need.

Where we work

Serving Chicagoland
and nearby counties.

If your location isn’t on the list, call and ask. We travel for sewer work.

Wheaton
Our shop is in Wheaton, so this is the short drive. Clogged drains, aging water heaters, root-happy sewer lines — we show you the problem, price it before we start, and stand behind it, neighbor to neighbor.
St. Charles
Licensed plumbers serving St. Charles — the historic homes near the river and the big subdivisions alike. Backups, water heaters, sump pumps, sewer lines: we find the cause, show you, and price it before we start.
Addison
Hard water is tough on Addison’s pipes, heaters, and fixtures. We’re licensed plumbers who find the real problem — scale, clog, or leak — then price the fix in writing and stick to the number.
Joliet
Joliet homes range from hundred-year-old two-flats to brand-new builds, and the plumbing problems range just as wide. Licensed plumbers who find the real fault — and price it in writing before we start.
Park Ridge
Park Ridge’s brick beauties ride on clay sewer lines older than most of their owners. Licensed plumbers for backups, roots, water heaters, and leaks — every recommendation shown, explained, and priced first.
DeKalb
Homeowners and landlords in DeKalb get the same deal: a licensed plumber who diagnoses in front of you, documents everything, and prices the job before it starts — drains, heaters, sewer lines, and leaks.
Bolingbrook
Bolingbrook’s houses are newer, but 25-year-old builder-grade plumbing is still 25 years old. Licensed plumbers who tell you what’s failing, what’s fine, and what it costs — all before we start.
Batavia
Between the older housing stock and the hard water, Batavia keeps its plumbers honest. We find the actual fault — roots, scale, or worn-out equipment — and put the price in writing before we start.

Straight answers

The questions
you might be asking

What does sewer work actually cost?

Depends what’s wrong, which is why we camera it before quoting. But here’s the honest range so you’re not walking in blind:

Sewer rodding, main line

$225 – $650

Hydro jetting

$495 – $1495

Camera inspection (free with service)

$149 – $325

Trenchless lining, per foot

$50 – $250

Rodding cuts a channel through the blockage and gets your water moving again. It’s faster, cheaper, and the right call when you need the house working tonight. Hydro jetting sprays water at roughly 4,000 PSI to scour the pipe wall back to bare material, removing the grease, scale and root hairs that rodding leaves behind. The rule of thumb: if this is the first time, rod it. If it’s the second or third backup in a year, rodding is only buying you a few more months — jetting is what actually resets the line. We’ll show you the camera footage and tell you which one your pipe needs.

Usually not. Most sewer repairs are done trenchless, meaning we access the line through an existing cleanout and pull or cure a new liner inside the old pipe. Your driveway, landscaping and patio stay where they are. Full excavation is only necessary when the pipe has collapsed completely or the line has a severe belly that a liner can’t correct — and if that’s the case, you’ll see it on camera before you agree to anything.

Most trenchless sewer lining projects are completed in one day. The exact timeline can vary depending on the length and condition of the sewer line

Usually not for the pipe itself. Standard policies typically exclude damage from wear, root intrusion, or normal deterioration — the things that actually kill sewer lines. What some policies do cover is the water damage caused by a backup, and many insurers sell a separate sewer backup rider for a modest annual cost. We’re plumbers, not adjusters, so call your carrier for a real answer. What we can do is give you a written report and camera footage documenting the failure, which is what they’ll ask for.

If you’ve never had a problem, you probably don’t need a schedule — just a camera inspection every few years, and definitely before you buy a house. If you’ve had one backup, get it inspected so you know whether it was a one-off or a structural issue. If you have mature trees near the line, older clay pipe, or a history of repeat backups, an annual jetting is the difference between a scheduled service call and a Saturday night emergency.

Still not sure what you’re dealing with?

Describe it over the phone. We’ll tell you what it probably is and what it’d cost — before anyone gets in a truck.
